Help Our Student Noah!

Many of you know our student, Noah Larkin (from the Green room), who has been battling brain cancer. Noah’s mom has founded Noah’s Light Foundation, a foundation to find a cure for pediatric brain cancer by supporting visionary doctors in pediatric oncology, funding new  research in the field, raising awareness of our cause and enriching the lives of the brave children struggling with this disease.

We can all help the foundation and have a lot of fun too with their upcoming event Laughter Heals, starring our very own Maryellen Hooper. Details and link to purchase tickets are below. We are also currently working on providing babysitting at a discounted rate for those who need it.

Summer Camp Enrollment Open

We have an exciting summer camp program to offer this year for children 3 to 6 years old, and extending
to the 6 to 9 year old age group as well. Our camps offer children the opportunity to continue working
with Montessori materials, while at the same time exploring new areas, trying out and developing new
skills, getting involved doing hands-on projects and enjoying time with friends. We will cover a variety of
topics and themes during the 5 weeks of camp, starting Monday, June 4th through Friday, July 6h (no
classes on July 4th.)

Workshop: Bridging the Gap Between Home & School

MSC Parenting Book Club

We are excited to start our own book club! This will help deepen everyone’s understanding of the Montessori Method of Education. The book club will also create a venue through which we can discuss topics pertinent to education. We will provide every family with the first book – MONTESSORI MADNESS! BY TREVOR EISSLER. Please save the date and get a babysitter today so you don’t miss the book club! The next book club date is May 7, so book the babysitter for that date also! In May we will be discussing a great book by Alfie Kohn called - Unconditional Parenting: Moving from Rewards and Punishments to Love and Reason. This book may be available in an electronic format. We are excited about the book club, sharing time with you and learning more together!
